Wahoo is a small tree or shrub that is native to western North America from British Columbia to California. It is a member of the family Celastraceae where it is the only member of its growing wild. It features thin oval-shaped green flowers that could grow up to 1 and half cm and 5 small flowers. Each flower has pink to brown and white petals and fruit with 3 bulging lobes.
The scientific name for this plant is Euonymus occidentalis. Additional name for this plant include Burning Bush, Spindle Tree, Western Burning Bush and Western Wahoo.
