Angelica Tree is small tree or shrub that features sharp spiny stems, petioles as well as leaf midribs. It is growing with open crowns which resembles an umbrella with trunks that grow up to 20 cm. They belong on the genus Aralia that’s native to eastern North America.

The scientific name for this plant is Aralia spinosa. Additional name for this plant include Aralia Spinosa, Devil’s Walking Stick, Hercules’ Club, Prickly Ash, and Prickly Elder.
