Apple is widely spread in many continents however it is native to most European countries. They belong to the Malus genus, under the family of Rosaceae. The tree of an apple could grow up to 10 meters and can live up to 100 years.

The scientific name for this plant is Malus sylvestrus. Additional name for this plant include Crab Apple, and Forest Apple.
