Bergamot Orange  is native to southeast Asia and has been spread by humans to many parts of the world. It is also known as seville orange, sour orange, marmalade orange and bitter orange. The bitter orange is believed to be a cross between the Citrus maxima,  Pomelo, and the Citrus reticulata, Mandarin orange. Wild trees are found near small streams in generally secluded and wooded parts of Florida

The scientific name for this plant is Citrus Aurantium. Additional name for this plant include Bergamot, Citrus Bergamia, Bitter Orange, Sevilla Orange and Sour Orange.
