Lantana is a flowering plant species in the family Verbenaceae and usually cultivated as ornamental plants for gardens and indoors. They are native to the American tropics and have become an invasive species outside America when it was brought by Dutch explorers to Europe.

The scientific name for this plant is Lantana camara. Additional name for this plant include Big-Sage, Wild-Sage, Red-Sage, White-Sage, Tickberry, West Indian Lantana and Umbelanterna.
