The Marble Queen is poisonous for both cats and dogs.
Typical symptoms include choking, difficulty swallowing, dyspnea, excessive drooling and swelling of the throat.
Marble Queen is evergreen vine, a member of arum family Araceae. It can grow up to 20 meters tall and features heart-shaped leaves. The leaves could reach up to 100 cm long and 45 cm broad, however juvenile leaves are smaller that only reach up to 20 cm long. It is native to Mo’orea in the Society Islands of French Polynesia.
The scientific name for this plant is Scindapsus aureus. Additional name for this plant include Golden Phothos, Ivy Arum and Pothos.
