Orange Day Lily is an ornamental plant known for its striking flowers. Similar to the real lilies, they are not hard to grow and their flowers only last for a day.  That’s the reason why they are called by the name Orange Day Lily even though they are not really part of the true Lily genus.

The scientific name for this plant is Hemerocallis graminea. Additional name for this plant include Common Daylily, Daylily, Eve’s Thread, Orange Daylily, and Tawny Orange Lily.
