The Pinks is poisonous for both cats and dogs.

Typical symptoms include dehydration, dermattis, diarrhea, and weakness and vomiting.

Pinks or commonly known as the clove pink or carnation had been cultivated way back 2,000 years.  It is commonly  found in the Mediterranean countries of Greece, Croatia, Spain and Italy but the exact range is unknown due to extensive cultivation. Pinks can be used for medical purposes, such as for upset stomach and fever.

The scientific name for this plant is Dianthus caryophyllus. Additional name for this plant include Carnation, Clove Pink, Sweet William and Wild Carnation .
