The scientific name for this plant is Abrus precatorius. Additional names for this plant include Buddhist Rosary Bead, Crab’S Eye, Indian Bead, Indian Licorice, John Crow Bead, Jequirity, Love Bean, Lucky Bean, Precatory Bean, Rosary Pea, Seminole Bead, and Weather Plant.
