Red Lily is native to North America and widely distributed in Canada. This perennial plant  grows to a height of approximately 30 to 90 centimeters. Red lily is also known as Philadelphia lily, western red lily, prairie lily or wood lily.

The scientific name for this plant is Lilium umbellatum. Additional name for this plant include Philadelphia Lily, Prairie Lily, Western Red Lily and Wood Lily.
