Snake plant is native to troprical West Africa from Nigeria, east to the Congo. It features a stiff leaves that turn dark green when it matures grows up to 90 cm and 6 cm wide. It belongs to the family Asparagaceae and also known as Sansevieria trifasciata.
The scientific name for this plant is Sansevieria trifasciata. Additional name for this plant include Golden Bird’s Nest, Good Luck Plant, Mother-in-Law’s Tongue, Saint George’s Sword and Viper’s Bowstring Hemp.
