The Spring Parsley is poisonous for both cats and dogs.

Typical symptoms include blindness, dermatitis, cloudy cornea, conjunctivokeratitis and photophobia.

Spring parsley perhaps consists of 35 to 50  species in the genus.They are native to western North America. Spring parsley belongs in the family Apiaceae. Its leaves are at ground level and bearing yellow, white, or purple flowers.

The scientific name for this plant is Cymopterus watsonii. Additional name for this plant include Aromatic Spring-Parsley, Northern Indian Parsnip and Turpentine Cymopterus.
