Tropic snow is a very popular houseplant for its decorative leaves. It is also grown by many  because it is a hardy shade-loving plant. Tropic snow has oblong, light yellow with spots and stripes and oblong leaves. It can be propagated by tip and nodal cuttings. 

The scientific name for this plant is Dieffenbachia amoena. Additional name for this plant include Charming Dieffenbachia, Dieffenbachia, Dumbcane, Exotica, Exotica Perfection, Giant Dumb Cane, Leopard Lily and Spotted Dumb Cane.
