Umbrella Tree commonly known as  Queensland umbrella tree, octopus tree, and Australia umbrella tree. It is commonly grown in mild to warm climates as a decorative tree. It is an evergreen tree in the family Araliaceae. Umbrella Tree is native to tropical rainforests and gallery forests of Northern Australia, Queensland Java and New Guinea.

The scientific name for this plant is Brassaia actinophylla. Additional name for this plant include Australian Ivy Palm, Australian Umbrella-Tree, Schefflera, Octopus Tree, Starleaf and Umbrella Plant.
