Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow consists of 50 species in the family Solanaceae, the nightshades. They are usually found in the light woodland and thickets. Like some species of nightshades, this plant contains toxic and medicinal alkaloids.

The scientific name for this plant is c species. Additional names for this plant include Brazil Raintree, Franciscan Rain Tree, Kiss-Me-Quick, Lady-Of-The-Night, and Morning-Noon-And-Night.
